Celeb trend alert: Katie Price has red nails for the Variety Awards

It looks like Katie Price was reading my blog last night as she turned up to the Variety Awards in London with fierce red nails very similar to MAC's Cream Shirelle lacquer that I blogged about below.

Personally I think Katie looked unusually glam and sophisticated on the red carpet last night and her nails finshed the look perfectly.

'Tis the season for red polish

I'm sorry I've been away for a little while- I have been super busy in my day job as a stylist, however I promise to be with you at least three times a week.


Today I bring to you MAC's Cream Shirelle lacquer,£8 it's the perfect colour for the festive season. As I lazed on the couch waiting for a home cooked roast, I popped this letter box red on my nails.

It's def a colour I will be wearing along with my LBD on Christmas Eve, with my fair isle wooly jumper on Xmas day and if it hasn't chipped by then then with my LSD (little sequin dress) on Boxing night.

What I like most about it is the gorgeous glossy look it gives!

Coco's back!

My favourite little nail trendsetter, Coco Beckham is back flaunting his doggy paws on VB's Twitter page again.

The gorgeous little Beckham bulldog is channelling orange and green nails ready for Halloween in a couple of weeks time.

These two colours are going to be great if your thinking of dressing up as a pumpkin over the creepy celebration.

I love the new range of Topshop nail colours in particulary the cute and quirky names- from Gone Fishing- a fresh mint tone, Big Smoke an on trend mink  to Cloak and Dagger- a deep dark black.

I'll be definitely popping one of these in my shopping basket; not only for the colour but for the funky little names that come with them.

At only 5 quid a bottle they're the perfect for finishing your head to toe Topshop look.

It will be Bieber fever in the beauty aisle

Tween heart throb to launch nail polish?! Weird!

I was shocked and a tweeny (see what I did there?) bit baffled to learn that mini-mogul Justin Bieber is bringing out a nail polish range.

He already has countless retail lines including bedding and dolls and to add to that the 16-year-old singer is also launching his first book, Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story (£16.99, Harper).


And if all that wasn't enough, he's bringing out a nail polish range dubbed One Less Lonely Girl.


The unusual collaboration between Justin and OPI's sister range Nicole consists of six glittery nail colours, to be available in US stores.

Fearne Cotton is green with envy

Fearne Cotton's minty green nails pre-catwalk show

Eclectic Fearne Cotton flashes us her fingers just before she struts her stuff on the Very catwalk show in just over an hour. 

The stylish TV presenter is showcasing her very own Spring/ Summer 2011 collection for the fashion press this evening. 

The star tweeted, 'Nail colour for me and the gorgeous models for my fashion show tonight. Getting nervous back stage ahh.'

I'm guessing from the punchy fearn green tone we're to expect some vibrant designs to storm down the catwalk tonight.

Cheryl Cole's Vogue cover nail colour

Vogue October 2010 edition

Cheryl Cole graced her 2nd Vogue cover this month along with her 'fresh start' interview, the nations sweetheart donned a fresh as a daisy look. 

One thing that caught my instant attention was her easily achievable perfectly manicured nails in a sickly sweet pink tone

The exact colour used on the shoot was L'oreal's Resist & Shine Titanium in Cyclamen 602- £4.91.

I know it's a very sweet candy pink for autumn but, as I say if it's good enough for our Chezzer...
